The Science of Moving Forward

Welcome to the Calvert Neuroengineering Science Laboratory (CNS Lab)! Our mission is to translate scientific discovery into real-world recovery for individuals living with spinal cord injury and other forms of neural dysfunction.

Our laboratory is focused on the development, evaluation, and deployment of precision neurorehabilitation approaches to restore sensorimotor function. We seek to deepen our scientific knowledge of human physiology, advance the clinical treatment of individuals suffering from neural dysfunction, and train the next generation of world-class scientists. The Calvert Laboratory will be opening its doors November 2025 in the Department of Neurologic Surgery at the University of California, Davis.
